Once a year as a Marist School a brother visits us to talk about issues or religious matters. The topic he talked about was vocations. In particular he focused on the question: What do we want to do with our lives.
A person named John Goddard was born in 1924 he sadly passed away in 2013. At the age of 15 he was sick of family members saying “if only I’d done this or that when I was younger”. He then created a list of 127 goals that he wanted to achieve in his life. Of those 127 he accomplished 109, an amazing result. If you have seen the film “The Bucket List”, starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, that was based of the life on him. Though simply put it, live life.
